Welcome to the 7th IUFRO International Workshop on ‘Genetics of Tree-Parasite Interactions in Forestry – GTPI2022’ that will take place in Pontevedra (Galicia, Spain) from September 12-16th 2022.
After a lengthy two-year delay due to COVID19, we are launching now the second announcement and CALL FOR ABSTRACTS, open until May 15th. Please submit your abstract!!
This meeting follows the tradition of the highly successful Genetics of Tree-Parasite Interactions Workshops in Mount Sterling 2018 (Ohio, US), Orleans 2015 (France) and Eugene 2011 (Oregon, US), initiated with the Workshop on Breeding Pest-Resistant Trees in 1964 (Pennsylvania, US).
The 7th workshop of GTPI will be hosted by the research group “Genetics and ecology of resistance in conifers” within the Misión Biológica de Galicia (MBG), a research station in agricultural and plant sciences at Pontevedra, Spain, that belongs to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).
You can find here essential conference information, including lodging, travel, registration fees, sponsorship and programme details, which will be regularly updated. This will be an in-person meeting, we will offer online access (via live stream) to the conference for those unable to travel.
The IUFRO all Division 7 (Forest Health, Pathology and Entomology) 2022 conference has been scheduled in Lisbon, Portugal, from 6 to 9 September
